Quiksilver Deal: Quiksilver Inc. of Costa Mesa, the surf wear and casual clothing designer, has completed its $4.7-million purchase of a San Juan Capistrano company that designs women’s swimwear.

Quiksilver announced Oct. 14 that it would buy Raisin Co., which has about $10 million in annual sales. Raisin Co. will continue to operate in its current location with its management and staff of 35 employees.

Quiksilver officials said the acquisition will assist the company’s entrance into the junior swimwear and sportswear markets and said a portion of the purchase price is contingent on Raisin Co. meeting earnings projections during the next three years.
