Chrysler Corp. Recalls Hot-Selling Truck: Three months after launching production of its new Dodge Ram pickup, the auto maker can barely keep up with demand, but it still has some work to do on the quality front. Chrysler said it is recalling about 2,000 of the brand-new trucks to make sure a bolt on the front suspension is properly tightened. Thomas Pappert, Chrysler’s vice president of sales, said the company originally hoped to sell about 225,000 Rams in the 1994 model year, but with 125,000 orders already on the books, sales could top 250,000. The Ram, Chrysler’s first new full-size pickup in 22 years, has received positive reviews from the auto trade press.
