ANAHEIM : Hospital to Offer Free Flu Shots to Public
- Share via
Western Medical Center-Anaheim will offer free flu shots to the general public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.
Flu shots are recommended annually for anyone 60 years of age or older and younger people with some lung and heart conditions. About 70% of those inoculated will receive complete protection from the flu, organizers said, while the remainder should experience less severe flu symptoms.
Shots will not be given to anyone with an illness stronger than a cold, with serious egg allergies or with a previous adverse reaction to a flu vaccination. Consult your own physician if you have any questions.
The hospital is at 1025 S. Anaheim Blvd. For more information, call (714) 563-2835.
