World IN BRIEF : SOMALIA : Marines Land for Training, Goodwill

About 400 Marines got a break from their cramped ships when they came ashore for training with U.N. allies and to help out at clinics and win some goodwill. The Marines will be based outside the coastal town of Marka, 50 miles south of Mogadishu, for four days to train with Moroccan soldiers and to hold medical and dental clinics for needy Somalis.
