Harlem Dance Friends

Dance Theatre of Harlem has just returned from an extraordinary tour of several cities in California. While in the Los Angeles area, we were privileged to perform at the South Bay Performing Arts Center at El Camino College and share our educational programs with young people from throughout the Los Angeles area. Departing for our next tour site, we were delighted to reflect on all that we had learned along the way and honored by the number of wonderful people we met and who came to see us perform.

Today, as we unpack our luggage and production crates, we are horrified by the scorched devastation that is now facing the Los Angeles area and possibly some of those very special people we now think of as friends. Although our home is on the other side of the country, please know that you remain in our hearts and that our prayers are with you.
