CRENSHAW : Hearing Set on Water Rate Increase
A public hearing on potential water rate increases is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Department of Water and Power auditorium, 4030 Crenshaw Blvd.
Councilman Mark Ridley-Thomas, whose 8th District faces possible increased rates, urged residents to speak out. “Unless a strong voice of the community is heard, the DWP may seek to lower water rates for residents of other neighborhoods while hiking rates in South L.A.,” he said.
