HUNTINGTON PARK : How to Make Those Cash Registers Jingle

The Huntington Park Business Assistance Center will offer two free workshops to advise merchants on boosting their holiday business.

Experts will offer tips ensuring that seasonal customers become permanent clients during the “Keep Your Holiday Customers” workshop on Thursday from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Huntington Park Chamber of Commerce. The workshop covers how to please unhappy customers, handle different personalities and develop bonds with clients.

“Selling Big This Holiday Season,” a seminar on how to increase sales and create an effective sales staff, will be offered Nov. 23 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the chamber.

Seminars are free to Huntington Park merchants and $20 for owners of businesses outside the city. The workshops are co-sponsored by the city of Huntington Park and the Chamber of Commerce. The chamber is at 6330 Pacific Blvd., Suite 208.
