Hewlett-Packard Co.’s Hackborn Retiring: Richard A. Hackborn, architect of the computer company’s $4-billion printers and peripherals business, will take early retirement at the end of the month. Richard E. Belluzzo will succeed him as head of the company’s Computer Products Organization. Hackborn, 56, announced his retirement at a board meeting at the No. 2 computer maker’s headquarters in Palo Alto. Belluzzo, 39, is currently vice president and general manager of the firm’s Hardcopy Products Group. Hackborn joined H-P in 1960 as a design engineer.
