BOYLE HEIGHTS : Health Insurance Seminars at Hospital
White Memorial Medical Center will offer a free seminar for care-givers and senior citizens on choosing a health insurance plan.
The program will be offered in Spanish from 10 a.m. to noon Monday in Conference Rooms B and C, and repeated in English from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 2 in Conference Room A.
“Our goal is to make these tough decisions easier for seniors and their families by providing simple facts and information,” said Fred Casey, director of Privilege Plus, which is sponsoring the seminars.
Privilege Plus is a free membership club for people 55 and older that provides educational activities and discounts at White Medical Center, 1720 Brooklyn Ave., and at neighborhood businesses.
