Lancaster Named Executive Vice President at Coldwell Banker

J. Michael Lancaster

* J. Michael Lancaster has been appointed executive vice president of Coldwell Banker Residential Affiliates Inc. in Mission Viejo. He will be the officer in charge of domestic operations and will be responsible for the four U.S. regions and the Affiliate Services and Franchise Development departments. Lancaster was previously senior vice president/regional director for the western region.

Sheri Gregg

* Sheri Gregg has been appointed vice president and controller of Global Exchange Network Inc., an Irvine barter network system for business owners and professionals. She was previously an accountant at Rockwell International.

* Kennon E. Vawter has joined Independence One Bank of California as vice president and manager of the Laguna Hills branch. He was formerly vice president and manager at Security Pacific National Bank and Bank of America in Santa Fe Springs. Michael J. Zepeda Jr. has been promoted to vice president and manager of the Corona del Mar branch. He joined the bank in 1981 as a teller and was appointed assistant vice president and branch manager in 1987.

* Mark J. Schulz has been appointed managing director of Ventana’s North America Environmental Fund. Schulz was previously president of W.D. Bingham Inc., a medical waste collection, treatment and disposal company. He also held senior executive positions with Browning-Ferris Industries. Ventana is a private investment group based in Irvine.

Melvin G. Gable

* Melvin G. Gable has been appointed to the new position of president and chief executive of QLogic Corp., a unit of Emulex Corp. in Costa Mesa. Gable has been vice president and general manager for the past three years, and was appointed senior vice president in March. Emulex said the appointment is a step in its previously reported reorganization plan to spin off QLogic as a separate public company next year.

Richard K. Vitelle

* Richard K. Vitelle has been appointed chief financial officer and vice president of finance and administration for InVitro International, an Irvine product testing company. Before joining the company, he was chief financial officer of Chapin Medical Co. in Corona. Before that, Vitelle was corporate controller of Data-Design Laboratories Inc. and senior manager with Price Waterhouse.

James Shepard

* James Shepard has been appointed vice president, administration and customer support for PacifiCare Life and Health Insurance Co. in Cypress. He was formerly vice president of Financial Administrators Inc.

* Paul A. Brown has joined the Bates Business Group Inc. in Irvine, specializing in brokerage and intermediary services to the hospitality industry. He was previously chief executive of Pea Soup Andersens Hotels and Restaurants, and senior partner in Domenico/Brown Group, an executive search, real estate and management consulting firm for the hospitality industry.

* Robert P. Dymont has been appointed president and chief executive of Realty World Corp., a Seal Beach real estate franchise organization. He succeeds Robert Thomas, who has left the company. Dymont was formerly president and chairman of Sutton Group, a real estate franchise in Canada, with operations in Georgia, Texas and Florida. He was also chief executive of Sutton Group Financial Services Ltd., director of franchising and marketing for Re/Max of Western Canada Ltd. and director of franchising for Re/Max Pacific Northwest Inc.

* H. Fred Mickelson has been elected 1994 chairman of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is general manager of the Orange County region of Southern California Edison Co.
