A preliminary estimate indicates that the 12th annual art auction at the Laguna Art Museum, held Saturday, netted about $125,000--nearly twice as much as the 1992 proceeds, according to museum spokeswoman Karen Drum. This year, 25% of the money is going to the Laguna Artists’ Fire Relief Fund; the remainder will fund educational programs at the museum. The top winning bids this year were $4,600 for Laddie John Dill’s wall piece “Cobalt Ridge” and $4,000 for a glass sculpture by Dale Chilhuly.
