Former Employee, Apple Won’t Go to Court: Apple Computer Inc. said Albert A. Eisenstat’s lawsuit has been “dismissed with prejudice” and that both sides have agreed to a settlement. Eisenstat, 63, was fired in September after 13 years as an executive with the computer maker. He was seeking compensation beyond the severance package he was offered. Apple said in a statement that “mediation determined that allegations contained in Eisenstat’s complaint were not supported by the facts” and that his severance pay, which was not disclosed, was “commensurate with his years of service and position within the company.” Eisenstat, who lives in Menlo Park, Calif., could not be reached for comment.
