Clippers Will Activate Manning Saturday Night Against Rockets

Share

Forward Danny Manning, who has missed the last six games because of a broken left ring finger, will be activated for Saturday night’s game against the Houston Rockets at the Sports Arena, the Clippers announced.

Manning was put on the injured list on Nov. 15 after being injured in the fourth quarter of the Clippers’ 112-99 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Nov. 11.

The Clippers (5-5) compiled a 3-3 record without Manning, who averaged a team-high 25.5 points and seven rebounds in four games.

The Clippers, who activated forward Henry James after Manning was injured, will have to waive a player or put someone on the injured list before Saturday’s game to make room for Manning on the roster.
