Nation IN BRIEF : MICHIGAN : Deadly Gas Delivery Linked to Kevorkian
Receipts indicating Dr. Jack Kevorkian received 20 canisters of carbon monoxide gas were seized from the home and business of a Kevorkian associate, a prosecutor said. Authorities searched Neal Nicol’s home and business as part of an investigation into the last two suicides Kevorkian has witnessed, Oakland County Prosecutor Richard Thompson said. Thompson said the receipts showed that Nicol’s business, Scientific Specialties, delivered 20 canisters of carbon monoxide to Kevorkian’s home in suburban Royal Oak, Mich.
