Urban Planning Update Scheduled

Share

Developers, lawyers and environmental consultants can learn about the latest developments in urban planning laws during an annual update scheduled for Thursday afternoon at Thousand Oaks City Hall.

The California chapter of the American Planning Assn. is sponsoring the meeting, which will run from 1:30 to 5 p.m. It is open to anyone who is interested in growth in Ventura, Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo counties.

Sande George, executive director of the planning association’s California chapter, will open the meeting by outlining recent legislative actions, focusing on changes in environmental laws as they relate to new development. Experts will then hold a panel discussion and answer questions.
