Aurora Electronics Posts $3-Million Profit

Aurora Electronics Inc., the Irvine provider of distribution and materials support services to the electronics industry, reported a profit of $3 million, or 48 cents a share, for its fiscal year ended Sept. 30. Revenue totaled $58.3 million.

The company said that, because of the discontinuation of all previous businesses and the subsequent acquisition of its continuing operations, results for the previous 12 months are not comparable. For the fourth quarter, the company posted a profit of $523,000, or 8 cents a share, on revenue of $19 million.
