Shaquille O’Neal, slowed by flu, was eight for eight from the field in the second half Wednesday night and Scott Skiles had a NBA season-high 20 assists, leading the Orlando Magic to a 114-106 victory over Portland at Orlando.

O’Neal scored 20 of his 26 points after halftime, making seven dunks and a layup. Skiles, who had 16 points, recorded his 20th assist on an alley-oop feed to O’Neal and Orlando pulled away in the last three minutes.

O’Neal, still battling a case of flu that has bothered him all season, was on the bench at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
