Soldiers Wound One of Their Own
Israeli soldiers mistakenly fired on a group of their comrades in the occupied Gaza Strip on Sunday, slightly wounding one of them, Israel Television said.
It said the soldier was injured when other soldiers mistook his unit for a group of wanted Palestinians. They stopped firing when they realized their mistake. It gave no further details.
The army would not comment on the report.
Certain undercover units in the army regularly disguise themselves as Arabs in the search for wanted Palestinians in the occupied Gaza Strip and West Bank.
