Fidelity National Buys 3 Companies: Fidelity National Financial, a leading national title insurance underwriting firm, has bought two businesses in Sacramento and one in Arizona that service the real estate foreclosure industry.

Irvine-based Fidelity said it paid a combined $10.2 million for Agency Sales and Posting and Pente Enterprises of Sacramento, and for Arizona Sales and Posting Inc. of Phoenix, all of which were owned by Richard and Donna Love. The payment was made through the issuance of 292,582 shares of Fidelity stock.

The three companies will augment Fidelity’s title insurance operations, and Fidelity hopes to expand them nationally. Agency Sales and Arizona Sales arrange for the publication of legal notices regarding foreclosure sales in newspapers and the posting of signs on property. Pente Enterprises publishes legal notices on behalf of cities, counties and state agencies.
