A special showing of the movie “Beethoven’s 2nd” will be held next week to benefit a memorial fund established for Nicole Parker, the 8-year-old girl whose body was found stuffed in a neighbor’s bedroom closet Nov. 21, organizers said.

The AMC Burbank 14 Theatres will show the film at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Dec. 16, with the proceeds going toward a scholarship in her name at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School in Encino and to charities that benefit children.

The girl, who attended that school and was known for her bubbly personality, disappeared from the courtyard of her father’s apartment building Nov. 20. Her body was discovered during a search of the nearby apartment of Hooman Ashkan Panah, who has been charged with murder and sexual assault.

Tickets to the showing are $15 each, a price that includes popcorn and drink. Checks for tickets or donations should be made payable to “OLG-Nicole Parker Fund” and mailed to Our Lady of Grace School, 17720 Ventura Blvd., Encino 91316.

Debbie Kober, president of the Calabasas-based Sales & Marketing Council, said business associates were also being asked to purchase blocks of tickets.

“These tickets will be given to underprivileged children’s groups such as the MacLaren’s Children’s Center for Foster Children, where the Parker family adopted Nicole,” Kober said.
