Nation IN BRIEF : NATIONWIDE : Health Plan Losers, Winners Predicted

President Clinton’s health reform program would create classes of winners and losers among American families, with 33% saving at least $500 a year and 25% facing spending increases of at least $500. The computer analysis was done by Lewin-VHI, a health analysis firm. Financial losers are young, healthy workers and businesses without insurance for their workers. Winners are those who pay high premiums because they have health problems and big businesses paying bills for retirees.
