Production Figures Revised: Japanese industrial production for October was revised further downward to a 5.5% month-on-month decline from an earlier 5.1%, the Ministry of International Trade and Industry said. The dive is the steepest month-on-month decline since 1950, when the ministry began compiling statistics on industrial production. The previous largest decline of 4.0% was registered in January, 1975.
