Novadyne Settles Suit: Novadyne Computer Systems Inc. said it has concluded restructuring negotiations with its original investor groups and various other creditors that “substantially reduce” the company’s debts. The company, formerly the computer maintenance and hardware distribution unit of McDonnell Douglas Corp., said it also has settled a dispute with its former parent company and withdrawn the lawsuit it filed earlier this year in the federal court in Los Angeles. Novadyne also said it will receive a $3-million investment from Cerplex Group, a Santa Ana computer repair company that provides repair services for Novadyne customers in several parts of the country. Additionally, Heller Financial of Chicago will provide Novadyne with a package of credit arrangements valued at more than $29 million.
