Free Tree Recycling in Marina del Rey

A free Christmas tree recycling center will open at Dock 52, 13483 Fiji Way in Marina del Rey.

Trees can be recycled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 2, 8 and 9. Tree stands and all decorations, including tinsel, should be removed.

The program is sponsored by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works.

Chips from recycled trees will be used as mulch at county parks and landfills. Information: (800) 552-5218.
