Fill, Kelley, O’Neil Chosen at Beckman

* Dennis C. Fill, William N. Kelley and C. Roderick O’Neil have joined the board of Beckman Instruments Inc. in Fullerton, expanding it to 11 members. Fill is chairman and chief executive of Advanced Technology Laboratories Inc., a medical ultrasound company in Bothell, Wash. Kelley is executive vice president and chief executive at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia. He is also dean of the School of Medicine and professor of medicine, biochemistry and biophysics. O’Neil is chairman and founder of O’Neil Associates in Hartford, Conn., an investment management consulting firm. In addition, John P. Wareham, Beckman president and chief operating officer, has been appointed to the board. He succeeds George Kilmain, who is retiring as chief financial officer.
