IRVINE : Classes Will Assist Stay-Home Parents
- Share via
Parents making the transition from full-time careers to staying at home with children are invited to meet with others to discuss the lifestyle adjustments, including feelings of isolation and trouble relating to working friends.
The city’s Community Services Department offers two classes, and parents are invited to attend one or both. The first will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Irvine Multi-Service Center, 17200 Jamboree Road. The second will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 25 at the center. The cost for each is $10.
In addition, the department will offer a class in networking with other parents to create a baby-sitting co-op. It will be held Feb. 2 from 7 to 10 p.m., also at the center. The fee is $10.
