Add Frisbee finger to the ever-growing list of ailments that can plague us. Apparently, too much Frisbee-flipping can cause a large, painful callus on the index finger of your tossing hand (yikes!). You can avoid the callus by giving up the disk, says Dr. A. Lee Osterman of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. On the other hand, you can get by with a protective leather glove like those worn by golfers, or even with an adhesive bandage,the doctor says.
