House Painter Hero in Fire

OMAHA, Neb. —
A house painter grabbed his ladder and battled heavy smoke to rescue three people from a burning apartment building’s third floor and help firefighters save a fourth.
The rescuer, Ronald Ford, 37, was treated at a hospital for smoke inhalation and released. Ford was visiting his brother in an apartment building next door when the fire broke out Friday.
