A Hong Kong millionaire wanted to complete his car collection with something really special, so he ordered a Mini Cooper fitted with a karaoke machine and refrigerator.

“He said he wanted the most luxurious Mini in the world,” said Paul Sibley, designer at John Cooper Cars, which specializes in “customizing” the small, sporty cars.

Sibley spent $47,000 on George Wong’s $9,000 Mini Cooper, inserting a television, video recorder and compact disc player in the walnut dashboard.

A refrigerator large enough to hold a champagne bottle was built into the armrest in the back seat and Sibley also managed to find room for a karaoke machine.

But Sibley was unable to fulfill one of Wong’s wishes. “He wanted to put an old Bakelite telephone in the door but we couldn’t close it,” Sibley said.
