What’s it like to be part of a biracial family? A panel of biracial children and adults will discuss the issues Jan. 22 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Fountain Valley Club House, near the corner of Harbor Boulevard and Lilac Avenue. The event is sponsored by Alliance Beyond Color.
One of the panelists will be junior high school student Brian Harris, 13, of Stanton, who started a pen pal club to promote understanding between the races. Harris is the oldest of five children of a black father and white mother. Seating is limited. Reservations must be made by Friday. Call (714) 236-0217.
