Service Agreement

Cerplex Group said Thursday that it has agreed to provide electronic repair services to Bull HN Information Systems Inc. in Billerica, Mass.

Under the agreement, Cerplex said, it will take over operation of Bull’s U.S. Customer Services repair center in Lawrence, Mass. That way, Cerplex workers can fix equipment brought in from the field by Bull’s service technicians, a Cerplex spokesman said.

Cerplex, which specializes in electronic repair, is based in Anaheim. Bull, which makes and repairs computer equipment, is a unit of Cie. Des Machines Bull of France.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, although a Cerplex spokesman said it was “substantial.”
