An FBI weapon expert describing the firearms found in the Branch Davidian compound in Waco said he had never seen so many weapons outside a gun factory. James Cadigan, testifying in the federal murder trial of 11 followers of David Koresh, told jurors in San Antonio that nearly a quarter of more than 200 weapons he identified as having been found in the compound were fully automatic. Prosecutors, who contend the modified firearms are illegal, estimate nearly 400 firearms and more than 1 million rounds of ammunition were found in the compound.
