Leslie Hits Milestone as USC Wins, 101-70

Lisa Leslie scored 31 points to surpass the 2,000-point mark, and No. 9-ranked USC defeated Washington State, 101-70, Saturday night at the Lyon Center.
Leslie has 2,001 points, fourth-highest in USC history and second in Pacific 10 Conference women’s basketball history. She had 17 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and four steals.
USC (11-1, 4-0) scored 25 consecutive points in opening a 25-5 lead. Jenni Ruff led the Cougars (6-7, 1-3) with 19 points and seven rebounds.
