BERLIN —
No charges will be brought against a wheelchair-bound German teen-ager accused of inventing a story about neo-Nazis carving a swastika into her face, a state prosecutor said Tuesday.
The 17-year-old girl was questioned about the alleged incident, which caused a nationwide uproar last week, but will not be charged with faking a crime, he said.
“The prosecutors have said that this girl needs to be treated medically and not legally,” one police official said earlier.
