Irvine Engineering Firm to Be Bought

TRC Cos. Inc. of Windsor, Conn., said Thursday that it has agreed to buy Environmental Solutions Inc., an engineering and consulting company in Irvine.

At the closing, TRC will pay $2 million in cash, $14 million in a three-year note bearing 5.75% interest a year, $5 million in TRC common stock and up to $9 million more in TRC common based on Environmental Solutions’ profits over the next four years.
