Roseanne Rubbish

Share

Recently Liz Smith published part of an interview with Roseanne Arnold that appears in Vanity Fair (“Roseanne Goes on the Record,” Jan. 4). I was appalled and sick by the time I finished. To irresponsibly say that any child who is abused has a right to kill his parents, no questions asked, opens up a lot of possibilities for children who feel that abuse can include not getting their own way--Mom and Dad won’t get you that car or clothes, so blow them away. Sound familiar?

I refuse to watch “Roseanne” anymore. I threw my new copy of Vanity Fair out as soon as I saw her on the cover.
