MID-WILSHIRE : Adults, Children to ‘Run Against Crime’

The 14th annual Run Against Crime, sponsored by the Wilshire Community Police Council, is scheduled for Feb. 20 and includes 5-K and 10-K runs as well as a 2-K run for children up to 10.

The races will start and finish at Wilshire and Rimpau boulevards, with the first race beginning at 8 a.m.

Registration, which includes a long-sleeved T-shirt, costs $16; registration on the day of the race is $18. George Takei, who played Mr. Sulu in the original “Star Trek” television series, will be the event’s grand marshal.
