Welfare Workers
There’s been a lot of ink spilled regarding welfare and welfare reform. One fact that has been consistently ignored by The Times and many other newspapers is that some welfare recipients, myself included, work 72 hours/month for $226 in cash and, approximately $110 in food stamps. That computes to $4.66/hour. Those of us who work are not being given anything.
