Independence One Bank of California FSB: The Mission Viejo bank reported profit of $9.8 million for 1993, an 11% increase over 1992’s profit of $8.8 million. Profit for the fourth quarter totaled $2.8 million, up 22% from the $2.3 million recorded for the corresponding period last year. The company said the gain in 1993 profit was the result of growth in its commercial lending division, as well as the first full year of operations of its mortgage warehouse lending subsidiary, First Collateral Services, based in Walnut Creek.
