Rainbow Technologies Inc.: The supplier of personal computer security devices said it has formed a new unit, Rainbow Technologies Ltd. Canada, and has acquired the assets of AND Group Inc. of Calgary, Alberta. Terms were not disclosed.

The AND Group has developed technology for the secure delivery of information and software via CD-ROM, according to Rainbow, which has been marketing this product as the VendorSystem. Rainbow said it has licensed VendorSystem to companies such as Apple Computer, Ingram Micro, Aldus Corp., KidSoft and other major software publishers.
