Along with Salehi, sheriff’s deputies arrested three other people seen purchasing drugs, Pentis said. Enrique Castaneda, 29; Amber Tanner, 18, and Jose Lopez, 18, all of Thousand Oaks, were cited on possession of marijuana and released, he said.

Upon searching Salehi’s apartment, detectives discovered about 12 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $36,000, a small quantity of psilocybin mushrooms and anabolic steroids, Pentis said. Detectives also reported finding a .38-caliber handgun.

Salehi, a convicted felon, was booked at the County Jail on suspicion of selling marijuana, illegal possession of dangerous drugs and felony possession of a handgun, Pentis said. Salehi’s bail is set at $20,000.
