Concern Over Radar

Share

Your story coverage of the Ojai Valley protesters concerning the disputed Sulphur Mountain weather radar installation fails to address the expected levels of RF radiation from the site.

Radar has been in use for over 50 years, dating back to World War II. In the last 10 years, microwave ovens have become common in almost everyone’s kitchen.

Certainly there must be a reliable RF radiation measuring instrument available today which will establish safe, acceptable RF radiation levels. If there isn’t, we who have microwave ovens in our kitchen could be in danger. Couldn’t we reasonably accept as a safe radiation level that which is measured in a kitchen with a microwave oven?
