BLED, Slovenia —
The government asked extreme Russian ultranationalist Vladimir V. Zhirinovsky to leave Slovenia for disturbing the peace in a resort town, the Foreign Ministry said Friday.
The ministry’s request followed reports from local journalists that Zhirinovsky and his group damaged property in the town of Bled during a bout of drinking.
A ministry spokesman said local citizens complained to police, but he refused to comment further about what he termed “night incidents.”
