It’s Bigotry to Lump White Students Together
* Your story “Plan for Black Students’ Conference Draws Fire” (Jan. 13) uses the term Anglos in referring to 19% of Reseda High School’s students.
It is bigotry to lump all white students together as Anglos when there are many distinctive cultures represented in this group.
Although the school has a Brothers and Sisters United Club and a Latino Club, I doubt that it has an Anglo Club. I hope the instructional program of the school includes an appreciation of the cultures and concerns of white ethnics as well.
