Hansen Natural Corp.: The marketer of Hansen’s Natural Sodas, in its first venture overseas, said Tuesday that it has started selling its popular health-oriented beverages in England, Scotland and Wales.

Hansen Natural Corp. in Anaheim said it signed a contract with Trustin Kerwood Ltd. of Great Britain to distribute soda from a production plant Hansen has set up in England. Iced tea and lemonade will be shipped from the United States until production facilities can be established in England for those products, said Harold C. Taber Jr., Hansen’s president.

Taber said the company isn’t sure what revenue to expect from the venture because such health-oriented drinks are new to the United Kingdom.

“If we feel comfortable with this, we’ll pursue two or three other European countries over the next year or so,” he said.
