Clinton Reportedly Drafting Plan for Free-Trade Zone: The Administration is drafting a plan that would create a Western Hemisphere free-trade zone in 10 to 15 years and add Chile to the North American Free Trade Agreement by late next year, White House officials told the New York Times. While details remain unresolved, the plan could dominate the hemisphere’s economic and political agendas in the next decade, the officials told the newspaper.
