Asthma Inhaler Recalled: A drug maker recalled three lots of an asthma inhaler called Alupent Inhalation Aerosol because they do not provide enough medicine to treat a severe asthma attack. Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Inc. said it does not know of any patients hurt by the defective inhalers, but the Ridgefield, Conn., company urged them to immediately return the inhalers to a pharmacy for replacement. The defective inhalers bear on their labels the following lot numbers: 930729A, 930730A and 930731A. They all expire in July, 1995. The firm said about 60,000 canisters remain in use or on the market.
