Share

The snow storm that paralyzed much of the East Coast of the United States the last two days resulted in additional Olympics coverage for CBS.

When the Georgetown-Providence college basketball game the network had planned to telecast Saturday was postponed because the Hoyas were unable to fly out of Washington, CBS substituted two hours of the Olympics.

CBS had live coverage of portions of the Norway-Russia and Austria-Germany hockey games, along with preview reports on figure skating and skiing.
