LAGUNA BEACH : Flood Preparedness Seminar to Be Held
The first of two seminars that will focus on ways to prepare Laguna Beach for the possibility of flooding will be held today in the City Council chambers.
The seminars are a joint effort of the Laguna Beach Fire Department and the governor’s office of emergency services, which are preparing a flood preparedness program for the city.
The proposal will be presented at 2 p.m. today at Laguna Beach City Hall, 505 Forest Ave. A repeat seminar will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the South Coast Medical Center auditorium at 31872 Coast Highway, Laguna Beach.
