Deals: New Castle Enterprises of Long Beach has purchased a 160-unit Buena Park apartment building for $7.9 million, one of the largest apartment transactions so far this year, according to Brad Turk, an apartment broker, who represented the seller, Dr. Edward Frankel. New Media Corp., with about 60 employees, has signed a five-year, $1.1-million lease for a two-story building in the Irvine Spectrum. The move beefs up the company’s space to 23,232 square feet; it had occupied only 8,000 square feet in the Irvine Spectrum.
